The new instrumentation consists in the upgrade of the existing equipment and in the purchase of a new X-band EPR spectrometer, which is a top-level machine in the field.

A highly relevant piece of equipment is also the computer network which has been setup for the computational chemistry activity of our Department. Such network is mainly dedicated to internationally financed projects like the " Human Frontier Science Program". 

A relevant part of the research activity is carried out thanks to the instrumentation present in interdepartmental centers (NMR, X-ray, mass spectroscopy) to which our Department participates.
