The Research Unit of Synthetic Chemistry uses two preparative laboratories supplied of glassware, rotary, pumps for vacuum, stirring equipment (oven, rotavapors, slabs and heating capes, collectors of fractions, etc).

The research activity is focused on three main thematic:

• The synthesis of new anti-oxidants lacking in proossidative property: synthesis and property poliphenol and/or mono- replaced with carbohydrates or i heterocyclic systems.
• Advanced Mass Spectrometry in the structural characterization and regio -stereochemical differentiation.
• Synthesis and property of heterocyclic systems with promising biological activity.
